Adam's Peak or the Sri Pada is an important pilgrim site. Buddhists believe that the Lord Buddha had kept his sacred footprint on the Adam's Peak.

Mid- night is the suitable time to start climbing this mountain enabling you to reach the top in the dawn with beautiful scenery of sun rise.
